Mindless Art Tattoos x New Beginnings

This Thanksgiving, Mindless Art Tattoos is partnering with New Beginnings to help provide Thanksgiving meals to underprivileged youth in the Lewiston/Auburn community. Email Kierra at mindlessarttattoos@gmail.com with any questions. 

In exchange for a complete Thanksgiving meal kit donation, donors will be eligible for ONE tattoo credit of up to $100 in tattoo work from my dedicated flash sheets. IMPORTANT: ONE CREDIT PER PERSON

Each individual donor is eligible for ONE tattoo credit of up to $100 TOTAL, regardless of how many complete meal kits they donate.

Donating multiple meal kits does NOT provide multiple tattoo credits, additional tattoo appointments, or additional tattoo value.

Additional meal kits are absolutely welcome and will help more local kids, but one person can receive only one $100 maximum tattoo credit for this event.

Each donated box or bag must contain ONE OF EACH of the following:

• 1 box/bag of stuffing

• 1 can of green beans

• 1 can of carrots OR corn

• 1 jar OR packet of gravy

• 1 box of instant potatoes OR 1 bag of whole potatoes — any kind

• 1 jar of cranberry sauce

• 1 ready-made pie crust

• 1 can of pumpkin OR apple pie filling

• 1 disposable pie pan

. 1 can of cream of mushroom soup

• 1 container of French-fried onions

Optional additions:

• Butter

• Milk

• 1 gift card toward the purchase of a turkey

There are NO substitutions for the required items. Any brand is perfectly fine, but the donated items must match the required list.

All food items must be new, unopened, and within their expiration dates

Meal kits can be donated November 1st through November 18th.

Donation hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

You may also bring your donation directly to Mindless Art Tattoos, but please contact me first to confirm that I will be available. I am completely appointment-based and may not be at the studio without an appointment. The donated meal kits will be distributed to the kids through New Beginnings on November 20th.

When you drop off your meal kit at New Beginnings, you will provide:

• Full legal name

• Address

• Phone number

New Beginnings will use a donation verification form to document your information and confirm that all required items have been donated.

There will be a checklist on the form to verify that the complete meal kit has been received. Once your donation has been verified, New Beginnings will provide the completed paperwork to Mindless Art Tattoos so that your tattoo eligibility can be confirmed.

Only complete meal kits qualify for the tattoo credit.

Once your complete donation has been verified, you will be eligible for ONE tattoo credit worth up to $100 in tattoo work from the dedicated flash sheets.

You may choose:

• One tattoo priced at $100 or less, OR

• Multiple flash tattoos whose combined value is $100 or less.

The maximum tattoo value is $100 per person.

The tattoo credit:

• Has no cash value

• Cannot be exchanged for cash

• Cannot be exchanged for merchandise

• Cannot be exchanged for other services

• Cannot be transferred to another person

• Cannot be combined with another person’s credit

• Cannot be carried over or applied toward a future appointment

Any unused portion of the $100 credit is forfeited and does not become credit toward a later appointment.

This event is 18+ ONLY.

A valid legal government-issued photo ID is required at your tattoo appointment.

All tattoos are subject to studio safety policies and artist approval. Certain placements, sizes, or clients may not be eligible.

The Thanksgiving Tattoo Weekend will be:

Friday, November 27th — 5:00 PM-8:00 PM

Saturday, November 28th — 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Sunday, November 29th — 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

I will not be accepting regular paid appointments this weekend.

All tattoos during the event will be from the designated flash sheets. No custom work will be available.

Because I am the only artist and there are only so many appointments I can safely accommodate, appointments are limited. You will need to choose your designs), size and placement upon booking.

Once booked, Appointments may be rescheduled only if another appointment is available during the dedicated Thanksgiving weekend.

If there is no other availability during the weekend, the appointment cannot be moved to another date using the donation credit.

Appointment times may vary depending on the design being tattooed. Some designs may take considerably longer than others, so please be patient with me and with the schedule throughout the weekend. I will do my best to keep things moving smoothly, but there may be times when appointments run longer than expected.

I am doing this event as a one-person operation, so I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and kindness while I work to get as many people tattooed as I safely can.

Please make sure you can attend your appointment before booking.

If you have a verified qualifying donation but are unable to secure an appointment during the dedicated weekend because all available appointments have been filled, you will receive a $100 gift voucher toward a future appointment.

These future-appointment vouchers will ONLY be distributed after the dedicated Thanksgiving weekend schedule has filled.

They will not be distributed simply because someone cannot find a preferred appointment time, and they will not be issued before the weekend is fully booked.

The future appointment voucher will still be subject to the normal scheduling, safety, and tattoo policies of Mindless Art Tattoos.

You absolutely do not have to want a tattoo to participate!

Donations can be made directly to New Beginnings simply to help provide Thanksgiving meals to local youth.

Mindless Art Tattoos will also be accepting monetary donations and tips during the event to help recoup business supply costs associated with putting on the dedicated weekend.

This is completely optional and never required, but it is always incredibly appreciated.
