New Beginnings, Inc. complies with all state, federal, and local laws with regards to equal opportunity employment practices and non-discrimination.  The EEO and non-discrimination policy of the agency reads, in part:

 New Beginnings, Inc., in recognition of its responsibility, not only to its clients and employees, but also to the communities it serves, affirms its policy in regard to Executive Orders No. 11246 and 11141; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, to hire qualified applicants and treat employees during their employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability or veteran status.

In addition, New Beginnings has policies which prohibit harassment of any kind in the workplace, as well as discrimination on the basis of HIV infection or status.  New Beginnings extends this non-discrimination commitment to the clients of the agency and to potential clients seeking services, within the limitations of the eligibility requirements of programs that might be funded only for a certain age-range or demographic group.  The agency strives to implement services that welcome a diverse clientele in a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment.
